The purpose of putting the data online in this manner is to provide an opportunity to any interested researcher to review the information and to point out errors or inconsistencies.
This genealogical data represents one possible set of relationships that link my great, great, great, great grandmother Mary HOLT nee HEAD of Grendon Underwood, Bucks and John and Agnes HEAD of Peasemore, Berks.
It is the result of relatively cursory study of the parish registers of Peasemore and Chieveley in Berks; Grendon Underwood and Marsh Gibbon in Bucks; and Thame in Oxon.
The link from Richard HEAD (1677-1756) of Leckhampstead to Richard HEAD (1704-1778) of Thame is the subject of discussion on the main HEAD pages.
In general family links are assumed from the convenience of time and geography represented by entries in christening registers it is quite possible that two or three HEAD lines are entangled or that a productive father in this tree is linked to the christening of a child that died long before fathering any children.
I have standardised the principal surname to HEAD, it does appear in the PRs as HEDD and HED in some instances (especially in Peasemore).
I am sure there will be errors - please do not accept anything here without checking it for yourself.
